Patta Gobhi -- North Indian Style



Ingredients

1/2 Cabbage chopped
1 small potato cubed
1 or 2 Green Chillies
1/2tsp Cumin Seeds
1tsp coriander powder
1/4tsp mustard seeds
1/4tsp chilli powder
1tsp turmeric powder
2tsp Mustard oil(tastes good in it)
Salt to taste

Garnishing
1tsp Garam Masala
Fresh Cilantro


Method

1. In a pan heat the oil and add green chillies.

2. Now add cumin seeds, coriander powder, mustard seeds, turmeric powder and chili powder.

3. Add potatoes and let let cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes.

4. Now add cauliflower and mix well. Also add salt.

5. Cover and let cook until potatoes are done.

6. As potatoes are cooked, uncover the pan and cook for another two minutes.

7. Add garam masala and mix well.

8. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve.


Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with rotis and raita of your choice.
